A comparison written by Neevio using our built product and the linked official vendor pages. It is not an independent review or a claim of hands-on testing of every competitor feature.
The main difference.
Teamcamp and Neevio both address agency project delivery with client work and billing. Neevio's evaluation starts with the agreement: review a scope baseline, inspect incoming changes and keep the client's commercial decision attached to delivery. Compare that flow directly with Teamcamp using the same project.
Review Teamcamp's official product information →Compare the workflow.
| Workflow | Neevio | Teamcamp |
|---|---|---|
| Project delivery | Tasks, epics, sprints, documents and project planning. | Agency tasks for development, design and marketing work. |
| Client access | Client portal with engagement context and change-request decisions. | Client portal with project status, deliverables and invoices. |
| Commercial review | Reviewed scope baseline, source references and scope flags needing a decision. | Evaluate the agreement and change-approval flow in your trial. |
| Time and billing | Timesheet submission and review, invoices, time costs and profitability. | Time tracking and integrated invoicing; financial reports listed on Plus. |
Capabilities and availability depend on the plan. Where a workflow needs verification, the table asks you to test it instead of treating an unverified capability as missing.
Shared categories do not settle the comparison.
Tasks, client portals and invoices are useful starting points, but both products address these categories. The next question is how a real agency decision moves between them.
In Neevio, the engagement connects source agreements with an agreed scope baseline. Inspect the proposed deliverables and exclusions before locking that baseline. Then test whether an incoming request can be traced back to it.
Compare client decisions, not just client visibility.
A portal can help a client see progress. For a scope change, the team also needs an explicit decision on the proposed work and commercial impact. Test with a client contact's permissions rather than only viewing an administrator's screen.
Neevio supports client approval or decline of a change request. Check the original agreement, the proposed change and the resulting decision together. In your Teamcamp trial, ask the same client contact to complete the same scenario and record the steps.
Check the link between recorded time and an invoice.
Use a fixed-price project with both included work and an approved addition. Review billable flags and the rate used before deciding what belongs on the invoice. A recorded hour is evidence of effort, not automatically a separately agreed charge.
Neevio includes time records, timesheet review, invoicing and project profitability. Review how each product represents extra work, internal costs and client charges, and which plan makes those capabilities available.
Which product fits your team?
Shortlist Teamcamp when its agency delivery, client portal and integrated billing flow fits your team. Evaluate its flat-rate plan if seat-based cost is a major concern.
Shortlist Neevio when the agency wants to review agreement evidence, scope flags and explicit client change decisions alongside tasks, timesheets and invoices.
For Neevio, AI proposals and scope flags require human review, integration availability is limited to the supported connectors, and profitability reflects recorded time and rates. Validate the security requirements and operational capabilities your organisation needs; a marketing comparison does not establish that every enterprise requirement is met.
Compare annual subscription costs.
The examples below use 10 paid seats and annual billing. They are base subscription calculations before applicable taxes, add-ons or connected services, not equivalent feature bundles. Pilot a project before migrating.
Review each client's active projects, portal contacts, open invoices and recorded time before moving anything. Decide which system remains the source of truth for already-issued invoices. Pilot a new or low-risk project so client access and billing are checked before a wider move.
Use an agreed website build with one new client request. Find the original agreement, review the scope impact, record the client's decision, assign the approved work and reconcile its time with the invoice. Ask the delivery owner and billing reviewer to explain the same chain.
