A comparison written by Neevio using our built product and the linked official vendor pages. It is not an independent review or a claim of hands-on testing of every competitor feature.
The main difference.
ClickUp offers a broad agency workspace with configurable views, documents, feedback, time tracking and reporting. Neevio connects delivery to a reviewed client scope baseline, change decisions and invoices. Compare the complete workflow and the setup your team needs to maintain, rather than counting feature names.

| Workflow | Neevio | ClickUp |
|---|---|---|
| Work organisation | Tasks, epics, sprints, documents and project planning. | Configurable agency views, documents and client feedback workflows. |
| Scope and approvals | Reviewed baseline with source references, scope flags and client change decisions. | Agency offering describes scope changes, revisions and approvals. |
| Time and reporting | Time entries, timesheet review and recorded delivery costs by project. | Native time tracking and agency dashboards; check plan availability. |
| Client billing | Invoice preparation and status alongside client scope, time and profitability. | Test how your invoice process connects to the configured agency workflow. |
Capabilities and availability depend on the plan. Where a workflow needs verification, the table asks you to test it instead of treating an unverified capability as missing.
Compare a configured workflow with a defined workflow.
Your agency may need several views for creative work, development and account management. It may also need consistent decisions across those teams. Identify which parts of the current workflow depend on a configuration only one person understands.
Neevio organises work through tasks, epics, sprints and project documents, with client engagements carrying the agreement. Test the route from that agreement to a task. Compare the setup and ongoing maintenance required for the same route in your ClickUp workspace.
Make the scope evidence easy to inspect.
Scope management needs more than a status named approved. Ask the reviewer to identify the agreed deliverable, the request that changes it and the client's decision on the additional work.
Neevio's scope baseline includes source references for human review. Scope Guard surfaces potential mismatches for a person to resolve. An AI flag is a reason to review evidence; it is not a final commercial or legal decision.
Test billing and profitability with the underlying records.
Log included work and an approved addition against the same project. Then ask the reviewer to explain which entries can be charged and how delivery cost was calculated. Test your intended invoice process in both products.
Neevio connects timesheet review, invoices and project profitability. Its recorded costs depend on time and cost-rate configuration. Missing time or rates can distort the view, so inspect the records rather than treating a dashboard total as a complete accounting statement.
Which product fits your team?
Shortlist ClickUp when your team needs broad configuration across several agency workflows and is prepared to maintain that setup. Check the required views, permissions and automation limits by plan.
Shortlist Neevio when client agreement review, change decisions, time approval and invoices are the recurring handoffs your agency wants to inspect in one workspace.
For Neevio, AI proposals and scope flags require human review, integration availability is limited to the supported connectors, and profitability reflects recorded time and rates. Validate the security requirements and operational capabilities your organisation needs; a marketing comparison does not establish that every enterprise requirement is met.

Pilot a project before migrating.
Map Spaces, Folders, Lists, statuses and custom fields to the project structure your team will use in Neevio. Preserve important document and attachment references. Test a representative project and verify the available import options rather than assuming all custom-field history and automations will transfer.
Use an agreed website build with one new client request. Find the original agreement, review the scope impact, record the client's decision, assign the approved work and reconcile its time with the invoice. Ask the delivery owner and billing reviewer to explain the same chain.
